Joy spent many childhood summers living and working at Haycock as her mom served as the summer cook. She began working in the kitchen alongside her mom which motivated her to pursue studying Culinary Arts. After high school she studied Tourism and Hospitality Management and Business at Temple University. Since graduating Joy has worked in various management positions. She also married her husband, Greg, whose family also lived and worked at Haycock. Together they have two children, Ethan and Leah. She rejoined the Haycock staff managing the kitchen in 2022. She has enjoyed seeing her kids fall in love with the camp that has played such a big role in her and her husband’s lives.
